Teff Bread Mix

Ingredients

  • 500 gr. Teff Bread Mix
  • 450 ml. 38°C water
  • 50 gr. margarine
  • 5 gr. sugar
  • 4 gr. salt
  • 7 gr. yeast

Stap 1: Add 450 ml. of luke warm water to a bowl

Stap 2: Add 50 gr. margarine or oil. This step is optional, it is not necessary to add oil or margarine.

Stap 3: Add 5 gr. sugar. If you prefer to use less sugar, that won't be a problem. This step is optional.

Stap 4: Add 6 gr. salt, if your prefer to use less salt, that won't be a problem. This step is optional.

Stap 5: Add 500 gr. Roley's Teff Bread Mix. Spread all over the bottom to ensure the water is covered.

Stap 6: Ad 7 gr. yeast. It is very important to make sure the yeast won't come in contact with the water.

Stap 7: Mix the dough with a kitchen machine with dough hooks or your hands, until the dough is supple.

Stap 8: Cover the bowl with a wet towel and keep it safe on a warm, drought free place. Let the dough rise for 1 hour.

Stap 9: Add the risen dough to a bread baking tin. Warm the oven up to 220°C and place the bread dough in the middle of the oven. Bake the bread for 40 min. After taking it out of the oven, let it rest and cool off.
